
These super easy candied pecans are REALLY good!! Candied nuts are a great snack for your next Bunko party or as a gift for a hostess or teacher. At parties, I serve these candied pecans in a decorative bowl like the Tuscan Sage bowl from Willow House. As gifts, I use cellophane bags tied up with a bow and gift tag! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
To make these Cinnamon Sugar Candied Pecans, you will need the following ingredients:
2 cups whole plain pecans (no salt)
1 egg white
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
in a bowl, add your 2 cups of pecans
separate the white from the egg
fold the pecans and the egg white until the pecans are thoroughly coated
fold and mix all ingredients into pecans and egg whites until totally incorporated
spread sugared pecans on to a cookie sheet and bake in a 250 degree oven for 1 hour
stir pecans every 20 minutes breaking them apart.
When your pecans are ready the sugar will have hardened a bit.
