I love Deli PICKLES!!
Why buy salty store bought spears, when you can easily make these outrageous pickles at home?!
To make these Kosher pickles, you will need the following ingredients:
6-10 Kirby cucumbers (depending on the size container you use)
9 oz water
5 oz white vinegar
a hand full of peppercorns
a hand full of mustard seed
1 small onion, diced
1 large clove garlic, chopped
a bunch of fresh dill, chopped
1/4 tsp sugar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
In a quart mason jar or other storage container add peppercorn,
mustard seed,
diced onion,
chopped garlic,
dill,
1/4 tsp sugar,
and tablespoon of kosher salt.
Quarter your Kirby cucumbers
and stuff as many as you can into your container.
In a pot, combine 9 oz water
and 5 oz white vinegar to a boil. Pour over cucumbers and close lid.
Let sit overnight then place in refrigerator.
In 10 days, you will have UNBELIEVABLE Kosher Deli Pickles!
