Stuffed Cinnamon Buns
Warm, Gooey and Nutty with a cheesy surprise, these are the best cinnamon rolls I have ever baked! Super easy and perfect for overnight guests these rolls will WOW anyone who tries them!!
To make these unbelievable stuffed cinnamon rolls, you will need the following ingredients:
1 pkg refrigerator biscuits (8 pieces)
1 – 8 oz cream cheese
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup melted butter (1 stick)
For icing:
powdered sugar, milk and softened cream cheese
In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups sugar,
and 1/4 cup cinnamon.
mix well.
Take the biscuits out of the roll and
flatten out into 3 inch circles.
Cut cream cheese into 8 pieces.
roll a cream cheese square in the cinnamon mixture.
Place the cinnamon cream cheese in the center of the flattened biscuit
and add a sprinkling of chopped pecans.
Pinch all the sides up to form a bundle.
Do this with all 8 biscuits.
Spray a round cake pan with cooking spray.
Melt your 1/2 cup butter,
and dip your balls!
Take the buttered balls and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mix.
Place them pinch side down in your round cake pan.
Pour remaining butter over buns.
sprinkle with remaining nuts
and sugar cinnamon mix.
(it will look like too much, but this is what will give your buns
a gooey and yummy glaze!)
Bake in a 350 oven for 25 minutes.
make a glaze by combining, powdered sugar, milk and softened cream cheese.
Pour over hot buns and serve warm!
