How to make Homemade Mounds Bar

Oh MY GOODNESS!!!

These bars are ridiculously delicious! The perfect treat for any coconut lover!

My husband hates coconut, but loves these and you will too!

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed
milk
2 cups flaked or shredded coconut
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet
chocolate chips, melted
In a small bowl combine 2 cups graham cracker crumbs,
1/4 cup sugar,
and 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter.
Stir to combine.
(I love these mini spatulas!)
Press the cracker mixture into a 9×13 baking dish.
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
While the crumbs are baking, mix together 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk,
and 2 cups sweetened flaked or shredded coconut.
Stir to combine.
Spread coconut mixture over hot cracker crust and bake
in the 350 degree oven for 15 more minutes.
The coconut should be lightly browned on the top.
Pour the bag of chocolate chips on top of the hot coconut and wait about 5 minutes.
Spread the melted chocolate all over until smooth. Let cool and cut into squares.
(I threw mine in the fridge so I could eat them quicker!)

Enjoy!!
